Jumbled randoms

So I spent tonight watching Perfume and knitting, frogging, reknitting, refrogging, and so on around 3 times, a hat. Perfume was a surprisingly good movie. I have the book somewhere.. I never did end up reading it, I always meant to, but then I’d invariably buy another book and so it got put back on the shelf to await another night. Anyway, I saw the movie at the video shop a couple of nights ago and grabbed it on a whim. Normally I won’t ever ever EVER watch a movie if I haven’t read the book first (and sometimes refuse to see a movie because I’ve read the book *G*) but since I can’t find the book, I thought why not? I’m so very glad I did. It was soooo visually lush and intricate. Textures, details, light, tones… wow. The story I found to be utterly bizzare but extremely compelling. I won’t go into any more details, but if you don’t mind a little… well, gore isn’t the right word, but it’s certainly got grit, then I urge you to rent it out and take a look. I put it up there with Brotherhood of The Wolf, which is another favourite movie. Anyway, enough about that.

Jesse - I know!!! When that scene was on I was kinda like…. huh?? but I did really enjoy the movie as a whole. Just that was a little WEIRD lol.
Dude, Perfume was waaay too weird for me and my bf. We got almost through it, but couldn’t finish watching it because we were straining to stay awake and then the next day it wasn’t on the top of our “to do” list.
