Preschool & Kindergarten

WOW it feels weird to write that title. But yep… my tiny little Lilly is at preschool for the very first time today. I cannot believe it. She will be going twice a week (during school hours). She looked SOOOO small compared to all of the other kids, despite being 3 and a half. It was funny to see some of the other kids approach her and talk to her like she was MUCH younger than them (when in reality she may very well be older than a good few of them). Her tininess may well work in her favour at getting what she wants tho
All of my kids have gone through this preschool, and we are very lucky in that the teachers are FANTASTIC. Lilly went and picked up Isaiah each time last year, so she is very familiar with the preschool and teachers, so I am hoping that she will be just fine. Me, however? Well as I gave her a hug and kiss goodbye I had to turn around quickly because while LILLY wasn’t crying, I was!! Soooo hard to leave her there. She looked SO tiny. And coming home with only Zoe? WOW. That was weird. I can’t even remember the last time I had ONLY a baby at home.. Hopefully I will be able to get some work done during the daytime while Zoe naps now…

Also, Isaiah started KINDERGARTEN! He actually started on Thursday and I’m finally getting around to having time to “blog”. He went in with no problems at all. VERY excited. So excited in fact, that even though I do a job for the school every year taking portraits of the kindy kids, he told me he did not WANT any photos, and I could “go home” haha. Cheeky boy. Once he saw he wasn’t the only one I had to take a photo of however, he was ok with it - only one shot mind you! I snuck in an extra one when he wasn’t looking though

Aw, sniff…
I don’t have kids yet so I can’t say I *totally* understand, but I feel like I do! Your kids are so precious… LOVE these photos of them! They look so happy to be there!
They grow up so fast, don’t they? I am also a mama to a teeny little girl. My Emma is 17 months old and I’ll be surprised if she makes it to 19 pounds by her 18 month appointment.
Your kids are so adorable!!! And your pictures rock. Love reading your blog!

AW. :3 I love those little munchkins. So glad they’re having fun at school, and you’re getting some quiet time at home!
Aaaww - they’re getting so big! I hope they’re loving it!
How adorable. Maya is a little fishy too but has fitted in well with the school. Enjoy that little bit of extra time you have to yourself!
holy crap - don’t you HATE it when they are BIG (little) enough to go off to pre-school and then kindergarten?? UGH!!! And I bawled too when I took my kids - despite Wesley not really caring that I was there.
HAD TO REMAIN COOL!
