28 does not feel too terribly old

Goodness me. I am 28. My birthday was on Friday! :) I don’t do huge celebrations (er…ever) so I spent a relaxing day with my husband and Zoe while the older kids were at school and Lilly was with her Nanna. We did some shopping and some coffee drinking and generally nothing at all. It was GREAT haha. Then at nighttime we headed out with a couple of friends to one of my favourite restaurants for dinner and drinks (they make THE BEST frozen margaritas mmm). Zoe came along for that too.

She slept nearly the whole time we were there, only waking up when I needed to give her to Matt so I could finish eating.

I’m SUCH a party animal, we were home by 10.30 (just the way I like it), so we watched “Whip It” before going to bed. Great movie, I really enjoyed it (and it totally made me want to dig out some skates…. until I remembered I’ve had 5 kids and that probably isn’t such a great idea afterall).

Of course earlier in the day I grabbed my camera and took a few photos of myself, just for the sake of it being my birthday.

    How did you squeeze five bubs in by 28?? I turned 38 on March 2nd and THATS when you start to feel it! You have plenty of mileage left, and a few more kids perhaps??? ;-)

    Happy Birthday. I think you are doing pretty good having five kids at 28. I have lots of friends who don’t even have kids yet and they are 30. Thanks for the pictures! I have a knitting (pattern writing) question for you but I didn’t want to post it on your blog. Do you ever take e-mail questions? If you don’t have time to answer it I totally understand I thought you might share some wisdom my way.
